These terms cover your use of this website, thesmileadvisor.com. We describe our screening service on these pages, but these terms are about the website itself, not that service.
Who we are
Smile Advisor is run by The Smile Advisor Pty Ltd (ABN 98 688 903 246), based in Australia.
What this site is
This site is where we talk about Smile Advisor: our marketing pages, our /insights blog, our /research survey, and our contact form. We describe the screening service here, but you don’t sign up for it through the site. The portal at app.thesmileadvisor.com and our mobile app are part of the screening service itself, so these website terms don’t cover them.
Our blog
The articles on /insights are general information. They’re not advice about your own teeth, and they’re not a substitute for seeing a dentist. Smile Advisor itself is different: the advice in a screening report comes from a dentist or oral health therapist. It’s still a screening, though, not a dental exam or a diagnosis.
Using this site
We’re glad to have you here. Use the site and its forms the way they’re meant to be used: don’t flood the contact form or survey, don’t send anything unlawful, abusive, or misleading through them, and don’t try to break, overload, or interfere with the site.
Our content
The words, articles, and design on this site are ours or licensed to us. You’re welcome to read them, quote them with credit, and link to them. If you’d like to republish an article, ask us first. Some of our artwork is licensed rather than owned, so we can’t always pass those rights on.
Links to other sites
We link out to other sites now and then: regulators and research worth reading. We don’t control those sites and we’re not responsible for what’s on them. Once you click through, their terms apply, not ours.
Our discovery survey
Taking part in our discovery survey at /research is voluntary. We explain what it involves and how we handle your answers on that page. Have a read there before you take part.

We take reasonable care to keep this site accurate and working properly, but we can’t promise it will always be perfect or available. To the extent the law allows, we provide it as is. Australian Consumer Law gives you rights we can’t exclude, and nothing here tries to.
